erfi has been successful since 1955!
When Ernst Fischer founded erfi in Freudenstadt in 1955, it quickly became known for its solid and high-quality industrial workbenches. erfi developed it further into a professional workbench system and thus laid the foundation for the developer culture of his company.
In the years that followed, other successful product series in the field of laboratory furniture and the introduction of the first 19-inch plug-in units made a lasting impression. In the 80s and 90s, the highlab® and basic instrument systems, the first Windows software for test systems and the varantec® workstation system were launched onto the market.
In addition to the continuous improvement of software and hardware, erfi introduced the economically interesting workstation system ABZ® in 2005 and due to the good economic development of the company, production and logistics would receive a new building in 2008.
Andreas Fischer, who has been appointed successor to Ernst Fischer since 1995, has consistently expanded the national and international customer network and professionalized production and development. This preparatory work enabled the start of a visionary new development in 2011. In a multi-headed team of technicians, engineers, designers and suppliers, the new workstation and device system elneos was developed, planned and built.
Since 2012, the complete system has been ready for series production and has since then inspired customers all over the world with its comprehensive flexibility, intuitive gesture-controlled operation and good value for money. - Another milestone in the success story of the company erfi.
