Erfi's innovative power impressed the 37-strong jury of experts in the red dot award: product design 2013. Anyone who has convinced the well-known specialists can decorate their product creation with the "red dot" and position themselves on an international level. The jurors were happy over the current competition of 4,662 submissions in 19 different categories. Only the best designs were able to impress the jury and the electronic device system elneos five and workstation system elneos connect received the "red dot" for its successful design concept.

Prof. Dr. Peter Zec, initiator and CEO of the red dot, pointed out that high design competence and economic success go hand in hand today: "The winners of the red dot award: product design 2013 are the protagonists of a highly developed design culture and design industry. Nowadays, it is becoming increasingly difficult to distinguish well-designed products from each other. Special features are often only visible in details. But those product creations that stand before the critical eyes of the international red dot jury will not be lost in the masses and able to assert themselves in the global competition". With the red dot design award, the Design Center North Rhine-Westphalia created the most internationally renowned competition.

The award, the "red dot", has established itself worldwide as one of the most sought-after quality seals of excellence in design. The Design Center North Rhine Westphalia will be showing the awarded products at the red dot design museum for at least one year. In order to be able to professionally evaluate the diversity in the field of design, the red dot design award is divided into the various disciplines "red dot award: product design", "red dot award: communication design" and "red dot award: design concept".
